Delia Sherman is the author of numerous short stories and novels for both adults and younger readers, somewhere along the historical-fantastical-comical-romantic-feminist spectrum. She is or has been a teacher, an editor, a member of the Otherwise Motherboard, a co-founder of the Interstitial Arts Foundation, judge of literary awards, a clerk in a bookstore, a secretary, a gardener, a knitter, a cook, and a flaming liberal. She is married to fellow-scrivener Ellen Kushner and lives (when not on the road to somewhere) in New York.
